Coaching Services

While there is significant overlap in career counseling/consultation, and life, professional and business coaching, they differ mostly in the focus of the goals to be achieved. They are clearly distinct from therapy, in that goal clarification and goal achievement are always the overriding agenda. Through insightful probing and critical questions clients experience the value of an on going and evolving collaborative relationship. Joanne will pose challenges to limiting thoughts and assumptions, which may thwart creative vision. Coaching offers safe and collaboratively designed structure, accountability and support, as visions and goals are clarified, and plans are developed to implement these goals. In this process clients benefit from honest and objective feedback, as well as appropriate cheerleading as they move forward pro-actively committing to accomplish their most valued and unique goals. The coaching relationship activates energy, vision, and strong commitment.

Coaching initially focuses on one of the following:

  • Re- evaluate goals and priorities throughout the process of transitions
